I came across this patent for a coffee mug with an integrated heating element which may be controlled wirelessly by your cellphone. 

This is a cool idea but does your coffee mug really need to be connected to the internet? If your coffee mug can't keep your coffee warm for a long enough period of time, you're taking too long to drink it.

It can also tell you the weather. 

I suppose one embodiment, a baby bottle, would come in handy if you're a mom or dad and you need to heat up formula in a bottle to feed your baby.
